8-HYDROXYQUINOLINE is white or sallow crystal
(or powder), hardly dissolved in water, but easily
dissolved in hydrochloric acid or alcohol.It is often used as the intermediate objects
in the producing of iodine, paint, and pesticide.
And the vitriolic salt and the copper salt in
it are good antiseptic, disinfectant, and preservative,
and merging indicator in chemical assay. And it
is also the main material of some low-noxious
pesticide and medicine.
